CANON — SPEED

Our reputation as innovators in design and typography made us a natural fit for Canon; we have worked with the company since 2005 on various projects, and our 2018 book collaboration, Speed, was a showcase for its new generation of super-fast Oce digital printing presses. The photographs of bikers and drag-racers by our collaborator Horst A Friedrichs, printed in all sizes and formats, have since been used as the basis for a 360-degree trade show/exhibition design/B2C environment, with a launch event held in Munich, to display the digital presses’ capabilities. We were also given free rein by Canon to design everything from event invitations to promotional material, highlighting our mutual trust and our shared desire to continue to break new ground.
